Grandma’s Thai Kitchen: Authentic Thai Cuisine with Vegan Options in Sherman Oaks, CA

Really cute spot with tasty Thai food! We got the pad thai, the lunch special, and some broccoli on the side — everything was super flavorful, and the portions were way bigger than we expected. We ended up totally full and still had leftovers! Our server was so sweet and attentive, she really made us feel welcome. Definitely a nice place to grab a good meal and relax.

I been coming here for years already and I’m telling you this is my favorite Thai restaurant I been to very fancy looking ones but this one is still my favorite. Everything I have tried here is very delicious but I do normally start with the hot green tea, egg rolls are amazing! Fried wontons and chicken satay and Pad see ew is so good. The main reason I do come here is for their chicken Tom Yum Kai soup. That soup it sure is something! Comes out very hot and the lemon grass makes it so lemony which has to be my favorite part of it I add some Chile and cures me so fast when I had a long night out and when I feel like I’m getting sick that’s my go to soup. The place is small a lot of people do get take out but I do highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I came in on a rainy day and were greeted by Amy. She was absolutely lovely, and the service was wonderful. The food was delicious too!

I’ve been ordering from this place exclusively on UberEats, and the food has always been amazing, so I couldn’t help but wonder how much better it would be if I dined in. It was such a great decision! We ordered the shrimp pad Thai and the Thai BBQ chicken and rib combo, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything was so fresh, the meat was perfectly cooked, and the seasoning was just right. Even though we arrived pretty late, the owner greeted us with warmth and made sure we never felt rushed until we left. I’m so glad I decided to experience the food at the restaurant, and I can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful place!!! Food was delicious and wonderful people! Will be coming here again! Good was so flavorful and it hits the spot when you are sick. We had the Pad See Ewe, shrimp fried rice, Thai tea, orange chicken. Will come again!

Been here a few times and it's honestly some of the best Thai food I've ever had! We had the Coconut shrimp soup, pad see ew with beef, Thai spicy wings, chicken satay, and both steamed and fried rice. Everything was amazing! So much flavor. Our waitress was very nice and very attentive! Absolutely worth trying!

Delicious!! I had the pad Thai lunch special. They filled that baby up ! The whole container could barely contain it. For 2 extra dollars you can get fried rice . Perfect portion to share or to have left overs for later. They have cute boba tops and holders. So convenient . And the spring rolls that came with it my gosh!! So crunchy and the inside has thin noodles. Perfect balance. They bust the jams and have a clean aquarium when you walk in. Comfortable ambiance.
